Day five: Marian Jelínek´s seminar and rest day

Today started out like any other day. Wake up early in the morning, then morning training and lunch. But the afternoon was a little different this time. The traditional free day was waiting for all participants that everyone could join. After the end of the seminar, Jelínek discussed various topics about mental coaching with the camp participants at an informal meeting at the ice rink. At 1 pm in Cinema Vesmir in Pelhřimov Marian Jelínek, a mental coach and former coach of the Czech national hockey team, gave a seminar. In his presentation he focused among other things on mental resilience, pressure for results or typical vices of Czech parents and coaches.

After Marian Jelinek´s seminar, everyone moved to the ice rink in Pelhřimov. The organizers had prepared a barbecue and draft beer for everyone, and music was playing from inside the stadium. For all players the organizers prepared a tournament of mixed teams in small football. After today, the players will be back to work on Sunday. They will have last chance to train for the official IIHS 2023 camp match on Sunday afternoon.
